Bunbee
Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use Bunbee, the home-baking app for iPhone and iPad (the "app"). Bunbee is made by AKRO-in. d.o.o., Slovenia ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which also applies. If anything here conflicts with Apple's agreement on how the app is licensed, Apple's agreement wins.
What Bunbee does
Bunbee gives you recipes, lessons and bake plans that work backwards from the time you want a bake ready, with reminders for each step. It also has three optional AI features:
- Ask Bunbee answers baking questions you type or speak.
- Snap to bake (recipe snaps) turns a photo of a bake or oven dish into a recipe.
- Photo check gives feedback on a photo of your dough, starter or bake.
Baking advice is guidance
- Times, temperatures and amounts are guidelines. Ovens, ingredients, flour, kitchens and starters vary, so results vary too.
- Photo checks are generated by AI and can be wrong. Use them as a second opinion, not as a guarantee.
- Ask Bunbee answers are generated by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. They're baking tips, not professional advice of any kind, so use your own judgement.
- Recipes from Snap to bake are AI's best guess at what's in the photo. Amounts, times and temperatures may need adjusting, and the recipe may not match the original exactly. Check ingredients for allergens yourself.
- Nothing in the app is food-safety, allergy or health advice. Check ingredients for allergens, handle raw dough and eggs safely, and take care with hot ovens, steam and sharp tools.
- Reminders depend on your device and its notification settings. Keep an eye on your bake, especially in the oven.
Free use and Bunbee Pro
- Bunbee is free to download. The free version is a taste of Bunbee: ten recipes, the first lesson, your first bake plan from start to finish, three questions to Ask Bunbee, one photo check and one recipe snap.
- Bunbee Pro unlocks every recipe and lesson, and unlimited bake plans, questions, photo checks and recipe snaps, subject to reasonable fair-use limits that keep the service available for everyone.
- Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription (for example yearly or monthly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase, through your Apple Account. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
- If a free trial is offered, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- Purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restore purchases from the app's Profile or paywall if you reinstall or change devices.
Your content
Your bake plans, journal notes and ratings are stored on your device. Questions you ask and photos you check or snap are sent for analysis as described in our Privacy Policy. You keep all rights to your photos, questions and notes, and you're responsible for having the right to upload any photo you check or snap.
Our content
The app, its recipes, lessons, illustrations and design belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own, non-commercial baking. Please don't copy, resell or republish them.
Fair use
Don't misuse the app, for example by trying to get around limits or payment, interfering with its services, or using automated tools to access it. We may limit or suspend access if the app is misused.
Changes and availability
We keep improving Bunbee, so features, recipes and limits may change. We may update these terms; the effective date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app means you accept the update. If a change materially affects a paid subscription, we'll tell you in the app.
Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for spoiled bakes, ingredients or equipment. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
